A Special Visit from 100 Cups Colombia

We recently had the honour of welcoming Albert (“Albie”), the face of 100 Cups Colombia, to Finca La Holandesa. Albie, originally from Scotland, has been on an inspiring journey riding across Colombia, sharing its coffee stories, people, and places.

🌱 A Day at the Farm

His visit began at our farm in Santa Rosa de Cabal. He walked through our coffee fields, saw the process from bean to cup, and learned firsthand how much care goes into every stage: planting, harvesting, drying, sorting. He asked thoughtful questions, and his appreciation for the work made us even more proud.

🏞 From Farm to Termales

After exploring the farm, we guided him to the nearby Termales de Santa Rosa natural hot springs nestled in the mountains. It was a perfect way to unwind, reflect, and soak in the beauty of the region after a day of activity. Those mountain views, the steam, the fresh air — it reminds us how much Colombia offers beyond just coffee.

💚 Gratitude & Support

Albert has battled many mountains both literal and metaphorical on his travels. Now, he’s taking on one of the biggest: a fight with cancer. We want him to know we’re with him in spirit, cheering him on every day. His strength, resilience, and passion already show how much of a legend he is.
